Meeting new people can be tough. Especially for us writer types. Generally, English Majors are the type that sit in ONE seat in a classroom, tend to avoid eye contact, and get frustrated when we have to wait in line for coffee. And we’re not huge into networking. Today’s technology, however, is relieving this burden at least somewhat. Nothing, however, is truly as valuable as meeting someone face to face and shaking their hand. Success in today’s world often is reflective of who you know, and that means sometimes you’ve got to schmooze. How do you network as a writer? Leave a comment!
